This will be Bethany's all time favorite gift--not necessarily because of the many messages from family and friends but because it is your idea and is a gift from the heart--way to go!
Our message is attached.
Love
Gordon and Martha
Dear Bethany
I remember the first day I spoke with you when you moved to Sherman. You made such a beautiful and sweet first impression and that impression has continued to grow stronger through the years.
Some of my Favorite Memories:
Ø Visiting you, Danny, and Belle at Wilson N. Jones Hospital on the day of her birth which is our Hillary's birthday, also.
Ø Belle's first birthday party
Ø Planning Thomas and Kelly's Wedding Reception together
Ø Swimming and afternoon chats around the pool
Ø Danny serving with Gordon in the Bishopric
Ø The day you told me that Danny had been offered a new job and your family was leaving Sherman
Ø The night I shared my deepest worries with you and Danny and you placing your arms around me as I wept
Ø Your love and prayers
Ø Developing workout programs for us
Ø Danny enjoying MG's with us while you were out of town—ha!
Ø Danny getting back on his eating program when you returned—ha!
Ø You and Belle visiting and loving my parents
Ø Meeting your great parents
Ø Going to Ross' basketball and football games with us
Ø The night we were all together at a basketball game when Ross scored at the buzzer.
Ø Being a wonderful example to us and sharing your strong testimony.
Ø Teaching our children the gospel
Ø Allowing Brooke to visit you in your new home and showing her New York City
Ø Your "almost" return to Texas
Ø Making an ever-lasting impression on our family
This is only a short list of some of the highlights of our friendship. We hope you have a wonderful 30th Birthday and enjoy all of the future ones that lie ahead! Best Wishes!
Hi Bethany,
ReplyDeleteI want to wish you a very happy birthday. You should know that on your 30th birthday you are just getting started in life. You're still a young chick!
As you know, Danny was like a member of our family as he was growing up. He just blended in with my other kids and kept me entertained. I was happy when he met you and you two became a couple. You are such a wonderful person and you have been good for Danny. I think your children are adorable and my only regret is that we don't get to see you and your family more often.
Continue to be the great wife and mother that you are and you will enjoy many more blessings in the years ahead. Sometimes the rewards for being a diligent mother don't show up for quite a few years, but when they do come, it makes the sacrifices all worth while. Much love to you.
