Hooray, you get to join the 30-club!  No more goofing off--this grown-up stuff is serious business!!  I was so touched this year by what you did for my birthday and I think the best part was just being reminded that people love me.  That's what I want you to know as well.  You are an amazing person and an inspiration to me in so many ways.  I love your quiet strength and your unfailing ability to do what's right.  You are a wonderful mom and a great friend and I've loved the opportunities I've had to get to know you better this past year.  I hope you have an amazing birthday.
